We Welcome You to See Vermont Today

Whetstone Beer Co.

36 Bridge St., Brattleboro, VT

The Station at Whetstone Beer Co is a brewery, burger bar and rooftop bier garten serving pub fare and craft beers in a relaxing atmosphere with indoor and outdoor fire-lit dining on two decks overlooking the beautiful Connecticut River.

The space was designed to pay homage to the building’s role in Brattleboro’s bustling railroad industry at the confluence of Whetstone Brook and the Connecticut River. Today, the location holds onsite brewing, café, weekly live music and two decks offering al fresco drinking and dining with stunning views of the river. And, because the state line separating Vermont and New Hampshire actually runs through a portion of the Station, this is the only place where you can have a beer in both states at the same time.

Maple 100 –– Quechee State Park Maple Amber Ale

“Brewing up adventure” isn’t just their motto, it’s a way of life. Partners David Hiler and Tim and Amy Brady were brought together not just by a love of beer, but a love of adventure, and a passion to support others in their pursuits of adventure. That’s why they created the Pints for Parks project benefiting Vermont State Parks through Vermont Parks Forever. Twice a year they brew up a limited-edition beer in honor of one of Vermont's state parks. Whetstone will donate proceeds from Pints for Parks limited-release beers and merchandise to the Vermont State Parks foundation, Vermont Parks forever. Get it while you can and don’t forget to save the keepsake sticker that is on every beer can! This September they launch their newest pints for parks offering, in an additional collaboration with the Quechee Maple Farmers - Quechee Gorge Maple Amber Ale. This unique maple amber ale is full-flavored, carefully balanced, and easy-drinking. With a solid malty backbone, a healthy dose of Vermont Maple Syrup and just the right amount of hops, it celebrates the flavors of Vermont amongst the scenic backdrop of the beautiful Quechee Gorge. They are excited to partner with the Maple Farmers for this limited beer. Their mission is to work collectively with other small family farms that hand-craft small-batch pure Vermont maple syrup, and help them endure the increasing market pressures from impersonal factory farms. Whetstone shares its vision for a world where small-scale producers can be a viable business and where family farms can count on the spring maple sugaring season to help make ends meet. The limited offering will be available at select retail, dining, and pub outlets around Vermont starting in mid-September. There will be a launch event at Quechee Gorge State Park on September 30th.
