Open late May to mid-October
The Park-McCullough may be visited year-round to stroll the park-like grounds. Visit the adjacent Hiland Hall Garden, and 9+ miles of public trails maintained by the Fund for North Bennington. The grand French Second Empire Victorian home at the crossroads, completed in 1865 as a seasonal family residence, is now a house museum and open to visitors for self-guided or guided tours in the warmer months (late May to mid-October).
The collection within is rooted in the Victorian and Gilded Age eras and offers an intimate look into 100 years of one family's residence. Find the stories of governors, entrepreneurs, philanthropists, artists, writers, scholars, collectors, and activists; their illustrious and enterprising visitors; as well as the extensive community of industrious staff around them who worked the estate, its gardens, and Hall Farm (est. 1779).
Enjoy public events featuring music, theater, art, craft, literary, and culinary arts, lectures and workshops, and entertainment for all ages. Available for exquisite weddings and private events.
