Sugarbush Farm is a five-generation farm, home to cows, goats and thousands of maple trees. This family farm is a real Vermont experience. There are a number of things to do during a visit, not to mention it is a great place to just take it all in with the scenic view of Mount Ascutney. Be greeted with free samples of select cheese and maple syrup inside the 1865 farmhouse while getting a firsthand look at how they package cheese by hand. Stepping up into the real kitchen once used by founding family members, find the farm store full of local products. Outdoors there are goats and cows, some of which will let themselves be pet. Take a walk through the nature trails to visit the maple trees that are used for sap collection. In the sugarhouse, get a more in-depth look at what it takes to make maple syrup. Admission is always free and they are open year-round, only closing two days out of the whole year.
