Appointment only.
Just a quarter mile from the village of Woodstock, Vermont, Heartstone Farm offers private, leisurely experiences with rescued cows and a small flock of sheep, created for those who want to slow down and connect more deeply. Cow Connection centers around Cora and Robbie, two rescued cows with very different personalities and a remarkable story. Spend unhurried time getting to know them through quiet observation, grooming, treats and gentle interaction—with the cows themselves always getting a vote in how the visit unfolds. There is no packed schedule and nothing that needs to happen. The simplicity is intentional, leaving room for curiosity, connection and the unexpected moments that often become the most memorable. Afterward, linger at the Wool & Story Shed, where photographs and stories introduce the animals and history of Heartstone Farm. Visits are private and by appointment.
