In operation since 1965, the historic charming 15-bedroom Four Columns Inn resides in the heart of Southern Vermont’s peaceful town of Newfane. Rooms are divided amongst three buildings onsite, the Main Building having six on the second floor (above restaurant and tavern), the pet-friendly Garden Annex having three, and the Four Columns Building harboring the last six (2 per floor). Some have walk-in showers, others have a bath-shower combo. All rooms have a television, a telephone, and a private bathroom.
The Inn is the ideal point of access to many neighboring locations for visitors, couples and families – everyone will find a point of interest nearby: those who seek outdoor adventures, the ones who practice mountain-top yoga, bird watching or leaf peeping, those who enjoy visiting historic sites or walking through gardens, the others who prefer to explore gorgeous hiking trails or state parks. Yet, for those who wish to unwind away from crowded cities and daily responsibilities, there is always the sweet solitude of nature on the property.
