Located in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont, the Burke area is home to breathtaking beauty and four seasons of world-class recreation. Speed it up or slow it down. Bring your gear or leave it all at home.
Home to Kingdom Trails and Burke Mountain Resort, the outdoor enthusiast will have all the bases covered when visiting Burke. Summer and Fall offer endless opportunities to enjoy the outdoors via mountain biking, hiking, paddling, horseback riding and more. A must do summer activity is a visit to Lake Willoughby or preferably, many visits!
Winter is ski season here with 2,011 feet of vertical and over 178 acres of fun at Burke Mountain! We’re laid back around here, though. The slopes of Burke are known for being uncrowded and unpretentious. Check out Kingdom Trails for Nordic treks and fat biking fun. For snowmobilers, we’ve got miles and miles of groomed trails to explore past villages, farmland and old logging roads.
In Spring, we’re tapping trees and anglin’ for the big one at one of the many lakes and ponds in the region.
